TAGSTA in Fukuoka will host a group exhibition from the "Different Kyomachibori Art Fair," originating in Osaka.

Come discover new talent that is "unlike anyone else." We are currently accepting applications from creators for this year's event.

On June 12, we will also hold an information session and portfolio reviews for the art fair.

Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Free admission, no reservation required

KANA HASHIMOTO


Born in Kagawa in 1992, currently based in Osaka. She explore themes such as insecurities, desires, language, and fashion, translating them into art with a touch of edge and a playful spirit.

Her work primarily focuses on gallery exhibitions, poster design, and zine production.



SYURI YOSHIDA


Born in Fukuoka in 1998. His work centers on the theme of “renewal.” He expresses, through painting, the process of irreversible change and the accumulation of its traces. Using techniques such as layering, building up paint, and gradients, he depicts a state in which the past and present continuously shift and overlap.




YUKI NISHIJIMA


Born in Ishikawa in 2001, currently living in Osaka. Graduate of Osaka University of Arts. Painter. Creates oil paintings featuring faces, animals, and landscapes.




Hiroaki Iwasa


Born in Fukui in 1987. Graduated from Bunka Fashion College with a major in Fashion Direction. Guided by the spirit of “ending labor,” he is currently based in Fukuoka, where he devotes himself daily to his craft of collage and clothing design.




Maasa


Born in 1977 and currently living in Osaka. Drawing on visual imagery such as memories, advertisements, and AI-generated images, the artist creates works centered on anonymous figures and landscapes. The work presents the visual paradox whereby "authenticity" emerges from the fake.




ARADOMO


Born in Kanagawa in 1994. Based in Tokyo. Focusing on themes such as “traces left by people” and “the sense of distance between people,” the artist creates three-dimensional works using materials like brushed fabric and cotton, incorporating sewing techniques. The artist exhibits their work in various locations.



KOTOKO


Born in Hyogo in 2001, currently based in Tokyo. She freely depicts surreal situations that feel slightly detached from reality with a whimsical touch. Her mediums include acrylics and markers. She actively participates in group exhibitions and creates wall art.





PORTFOLIO REVIEW

Art Fair Information Session & Portfolio Review


We are hosting an information session and portfolio review for creators considering participating in the fair.We look forward to seeing many of you there. Admission is free. Walk-ins are welcome. (One-drink minimum)

Application Deadline: Monday, August 10


Set in Kyomachibori, the creative hub of Osaka’s Nishi Ward, this creator-first art fair connects people, the city, and art.

We're holding it again this year! We’re currently accepting applications from participating creators!


Fair Dates: Saturday, October 31, 2026; Sunday, November 1; Monday, November 2; and Tuesday, November 3 (Holiday)
