An art wall linked to the annual “Different Kyomachibori Art Fair” held in Osaka's Nishi Ward creative district. Works by cutting-edge creators adorn the top floor of Yodoyabashi Station One.
We are currently hosting a solo exhibition by contemporary artist Yumi Takimoto, who participated in the “Different Kyomachibori Art Fair 2024” as the first selected artist. (Scheduled to run until the end of December)
All exhibited works are available for purchase online.

Profile
Born in Tokyo. An abstract painter who “paints paint.”
Completed the Master's Program in Fine Arts, Oil Painting Course, Graduate School of Art and Design, Musashino Art University.
Has exhibited and received awards since her student days, holding regular solo exhibitions since 2016.
Using thick paint and a painting knife, she pursues the individuality and charm of paint itself.
Major awards include:

Statement
I create paintings purely.
I begin painting without preparing the work in advance as a drawing or words.
I call this “painting the paint.”
My hand delights in the weight of thick paint and the canvas's elasticity.
The paint oxidizes, forming new edges, erasing defined borders,
standing before me as if the paint alone were self-sustaining.
Shapes and colors may evoke associations, suggesting something,
but there exists only the substance of paint.
